Making a GREAT team takes time and dedication. Not just one person can take care of everything but when your whole team can support each other, that’s when you can grow together. Example: When your team can come together, sharing their strengths and weaknesses. Come up with a strategy on how you can be successful together by using each other’s strengths and weaknesses, there isn’t ANYTHING that can stop you!

Over my 37 yr career in healthcare working directly with over 900 patients and over 60,000 hrs of clinical experience, the one thing that is so very true is that “people don’t care how much you know, they want to know how much you care”. Empathy is the essence that allows for the improvement to occur whether in business, relationships, healthcare and all of humanity. EQ- Is and always will remain what allows for great things to happen.
Early in my career, I learned that my team's performance rarely related to the work itself... ____ cooalliance.com - where COOs go to grow!

Let’s be honest… Passion is great, but it’s not everything. What truly matters is contributing to the vision and delivering results. Here’s what I care about in my team: ✅ Professionalism ✅ Quality work ✅ Understanding who we’re building for But most importantly, I want my team to feel safe, respected, and valued for their contributions. If someone’s passionate about being paid and nothing more, that’s fine with me. As long as they consistently deliver, understand the mission, and work with integrity—that’s what truly counts. Passion is a bonus. Excellence is the standard.

Paramanantham Harrison Great post! As an engineering manager, it's crucial to balance these four qualities—passion, consistency, discipline, and motivation—across your team. Passion fuels enthusiasm and dedication, consistency ensures steady performance, discipline maintains focus and adherence to standards, and motivation drives the team to excel. Each team member brings a unique combination of these traits, so it’s your responsibility to identify their strengths and areas for growth, finding the right balance to optimize performance. All four qualities are interconnected and essential for effective team outcomes. In my experience, passion and motivation can fluctuate over time due to factors like workload, project changes, personal development, and team morale. However, discipline and commitment tend to be more stable, rooted in work ethic and responsibility. By keeping discipline and commitment strong, you can help balance the natural ups and downs of passion and motivation. Maintaining this balance is key to long-term team success.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO AT WORK: - be in a place that isn’t work - talk about things that aren’t work - learn about your colleagues beyond who they are in work Yesterday was lovely, motivating and also relaxing after the slog of the last few weeks. Here’s to more of these! 🙌 #studio #team #teambuilding
What an incredible team ⚡️ TEAM GOALS ⚡ Yesterday marked our second Spark Inside Out day, and it was fantastic! We kicked things off by continuing our Confidence Programme. This time, everyone practiced their presentation and public speaking skills by sharing their Unpopular Opinion. The topics were definitely intriguing, with plenty of laughs, debates and controversy! It was a great way to help everyone step out of their comfort zones. Next, we had our monthly Like Club, which is always a hit and really gets our minds buzzing with fresh ideas. To wrap up the day and clear our heads, we went on a group walk to Rivington Pike. Even the weather was manageable – we had a picnic under the trees, enjoyed the blustery views from the top, and celebrated with cold beers at the bottom. A great way to blow the cobwebs away and bond with the guys! Days like these are essential, and we’re definitely planning more soon. Big thanks to Neil Marra, Calandra Tennant, Charlotte Wand, Olly Sussams, Anna Tolstoluzhska, Kate Rabjohns, Lindsay Brown, Nicol Pomfret, Emillie Watson, Abbie Lawton and not forgetting Max 🐾

🔥 Let’s Go, Team! 🔥 This is OUR time. The goals we’ve set, the vision we’re building—it’s all within reach. But it takes focus, energy, and determination to make it happen. 💪 💡 Remember: We’re not here to be average. We’re here to dominate, to grow, and to achieve the extraordinary. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a step closer to greatness. Today, let’s bring the energy, crush our goals, and show what this team is made of. The only limit is the one we place on ourselves. Let’s make it happen! 🚀
