Happy pride month! 🏳️🌈❤️ As we step into this vibrant month of celebration, I want to take a moment to reflect on the importance of visibility for queer individuals in the office space. As a proud lesbian and poly person, I understand the profound impact that being seen and acknowledged can have on an individual. It's about more than just being present; it's about creating a space where we can all feel safe, supported, and free to express our true selves without fear. While we celebrate Pride, we must also confront the rise in hate crimes in Norway (as well as the rest of the world), a stark reminder of the ongoing struggle for true equality. Let's stand united against such hate and advocate for a society where love and acceptance prevail. Visibility matters. It paves the way for understanding, acceptance, and change. This Pride, let's commit to fostering an environment where every voice is heard, every identity is respected, and every person can thrive. Here's to celebrating our unique journeys and the collective progress we've made. #Pride #Inclusivity #Visibility
Wishing everyone a Happy Pride Month! “Here at Crayon, we support the LGBTQ+ community as a proud ally and inclusive company,” said CEO Melissa Mulholland. “Our focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion helps us embrace what makes us strong—our differences. Pride isn’t just a time to show support, but also a time to celebrate the accomplishments and acknowledge the challenges of LGBTQ+ people throughout history. Diversity comes in many forms, and it is essential that we recognize people’s different perspectives because they enrich our own experiences.” #Crayon #Pride #Diversity

As advocates for corporate social responsibility with a diverse team, we strive for justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion because they're essential values. However, effectively communicating these values can be challenging for companies particularly during LGBTQ+ Pride Month when companies unveil rainbow-themed products and rebranding efforts. The phenomenon of "rainbow washing" has led to skepticism towards brands that seem to capitalize on the LGBTQ+ community, often resulting in fumbled Pride messaging or misaligned values. To ensure authenticity and alignment, our team uses 4 strategies to avoid rainbow washing, not only during Pride Month but every month: https://loom.ly/RaZ7KC4

With DEI initiatives seeing increasing pushback across the globe, our recent panel discussion in Mexico explored, through a cross-cultural lens, the importance of LGBTQ+ inclusion, with panelists sharing personal stories, embracing their identities, and being their authentic selves in the workplace. ➡ Visibility matters: Sharing our stories helps break down barriers and building an inclusive culture. ➡ Tone from the top: Colleagues feel supported and seen when senior leaders engage. ➡ Policies matter. Small changes in people policies (particularly when it comes to supporting planning for non-traditional families) can make a big difference. ➡ Supporting junior talent: Senior colleagues can help junior talent navigate authenticity and differing experiences and viewpoints. LGBTQ+ inclusion = Profitability Or at least that’s what new research by Davos suggests. They found that the Top 25 companies for LGBTQ+ transparency were 2.3 times more profitable than the bottom 25. We've got a long way to go for DE&I-related issues. But it’s great to see businesses reap the rewards for attracting and retaining a diverse workforce. #diversity #queer

In #publicsafety , everyone is #family You spend more holidays with your co-workers than you do with your own family. Of course, you have that weird aunt or grumpy uncle but at the end of the day - regardless of race, gender, religious beliefs, sexuality, etc. Everyone loves eachother and supports eachother through those difficult calls. Coming over to the private sector, I didn’t know what to expect. #Thankful to have joined a company that welcomes #diversity and supports all employees. Verint has created a culture that embraces #inclusion while providing #opportunities and #support for everyone. #equality #employeeresourcegroup #ERG #diversity #verint #publicsector #publicsafety #community #bestplacestowork #culture #proud #together #verinteer #technology #techjobs #womenintech

That’s why we’re excited to introduce our newest Employee Resource Group – LGBTQ+. This group is committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming, and safe environment for all our LGBTQ+ Verinteers, helping them to grow and thrive. Join us this month and beyond as the LGBTQ+ ERG hosts engaging programs and events, shares valuable education, and drives impactful change. Together, we're building a more diverse, innovative, and better Verint. Happy #PrideMonth!

As we celebrate Pride Month, let's take a moment to reflect on the importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in our workplaces and communities. Embracing DEI not only enriches our environments but also drives innovation and growth. This month, let's commit to learning more about the experiences of the LGBTQ+ community, to understanding the challenges they face, and to taking action in support of their rights. Let's use this time to start conversations that matter, to share stories that inspire, and to build bridges that unite. Together, we can create a world where everyone is free to be themselves and where equality isn't just a goal, but a reality. #PrideMonth #DiversityAndInclusion #EqualityForAll
