**🔄🔁 Title: Labor Day Legacy: A Timely Reflection 🌍** **Verse 1:** From 1882, we kick off this ride, New York’s streets, where workers’ pride, First Labor Day, they marched with might, Setting the stage for an ongoing fight. **Chorus:** Haymarket's flames in '86, Riots in Chicago, chaos in the mix. Oregon followed in '87's wake, Labor Day laws they didn’t forsake. **Verse 2:** By 1889, Europe saw the light, May 1 declared, workers’ right. 1894, the U.S. joined the fray, Making Labor Day a holiday. **Bridge:** "Arbeit macht das Leben süß"—German words for all, "Work makes life sweet," it’s the universal call. Across 60 nations, on different days, Labor’s spirit never sways. **Verse 3:** Parades and rallies, speeches, awards, Workers unite, they break all cords.
