In Spanish there´s a saying that goes:   "Billetera mata Galán" in English "Wallet kills handsome men."   the reference is made because we have to be aware that Needs are unlimited, <but resources are not, and healthcare systems are getting concern and urged to contain costs and reduce somehow patent protections, this might have impact indeed on emerging markets where international price reference is a common practice among markets specially in LATAM.   Some drugs we have among those 15 are the trending Ozempic (Diabetes, Obesity), Palbociclib (HER2 - ER+ Breast Cancer, Enzalutamide (Prostate Cancer) in the eye of the payers, locally we can relate after 2 national tender process for public healthcare network where important savings have been made after our reverse bid auction process model, whoever reaches the lowest price in 30 minutes wins all for 2 to 5 years until a new process is called for.   In the US they will seat in the table to negotiate prices and if a worldwide comparison gets into the analysis specially with LATAM and European emerging markets the impact is going to be significant, pricing tags are a growing concern among payers, and they have to look for mechanisms to contain and assure access for a growing need for innovative options.
