This week on #IslingtonImpact, we're celebrating local impact with Islington Council's #CommunityChest! 🎉 At Islington Giving, we’ve seen first-hand how Islington Council’s Community Chest makes a real difference in the borough. The funding is provided through a partnership between Islington Council and our parent charity, Cripplegate Foundation which administers the fund. Thanks to Community Chest, WeSwim has been able to run inclusive disability swim sessions, creating a safe and welcoming space where local residents can connect, grow, and thrive. As Tasha Fleming, Director of WeSwim put it: “Working with Islington Council’s Community Chest has been fantastic for our disability swim sessions. Their understanding of local nuances and commitment to building up communities has been invaluable.
