Homelessness often means you're struggling with a chaotic life. Tasks like getting regular health checks, or even necessary medical treatment aren't a priority when you have to figure out where to sleep tonight. So, over Christmas we were thrilled to have the support of teams from Dentaid The Dental Charity at our London Hotels. Thanks to funding from Specsavers, Dentaid were able to provide fantastic dental care to our guests.

All charity homes/ orphanages should implement and adhere to basic safety and health rules to ensure that every child feels the love and belonging of a safe home. This is a very important survey, we need to hear what’s important, what works well and what needs to be improved for people at the end of life. Please complete this if you can and please share
Everyone deserves the best possible care and support at the end of life. On behalf of those responsible for shaping palliative and end-of-life care, NHS East of England and Marie Curie East England are conducting a survey to understand the experiences of those affected. Arthur Rank Hospice Charity is pleased to support this important initiative. If you’re living with a terminal illness or supporting someone who is, you have the opportunity to share your opinions. Volunteers, health and social care professionals, and anyone bereaved in the last two years are also encouraged to participate. Your insights can help improve care for everyone at the end of life. Take part in the survey and share your views today at bit.ly/eastofengland. #PalliativeCare #EndOfLifeCare #HealthcareSurvey #MarieCurie #NHS

I often get asked why Advocacy, well this article is one of the reasons. I come across stories like this all the time and it makes my blood boil. I have to try and help the ones that don't fit a criteria of a particular charity or organisation. I have to make that difference. I am different I don't have a criteria other than get a positive outcome for my clients. However, I do respect the work of charities and organisations. One size does not fit all. Please take time to read this link. In 2024 for we should being doing better. https://lnkd.in/eEGBb3u3

One of the most powerful things to not only support our wellbeing and resilience, but also to feel connected to others is to notice our (and they're achievements), talk about them and celebrate them. In the stressful world of the charity sector, its so easy to to lose sight of these. My challenge to you is how can you celebrate the wins for you, with your colleagues and teams? #thirdsector #ukcharity #seniorleaders #resilience #stress #selfcompassion #mentalhealthforleaders #selfcare #burnoutrecovery #burnoutprevention
