Last weekend, a whole wave of Crisis Icebreakers took to cold water to help end homelessness, at our events in London, Oxford and across the country as part of their DIY challenges. At our event at Parliament Hill Lido, dozens of supporters embraced the chill, in some wacky fancy dress costumes to swim a length of the pool in temperatures of just 5 degrees! Thank you to Parliament Hill Lido for having us and Volcano Coffee Works for warming us up. We also hosted an event in Oxford at Bicester Hotel, Golf and Spa where our brave Icebreakers took a swim in the lake! In Liverpool, our Crisis Merseyside team took to the water at Queens Dock with Liverpool Watersport Centre as part of their own DIY challenge, raising over £1,000 altogether. And our fantastic Daily Dippers have continued their daily wild swims in locations all over the country, from Cornwall to the Lake District and everywhere in between. Thank you so much to everyone who is braving the cold so others don't have to. Every penny you raise is helping people build their lives beyond homelessness. There's still time to get involved! We have events still to come in London and Wales or you can do it your own way with a DIY challenge. Sign up: https://bit.ly/3CbeN7k
