It's a small club! After that optimistic opener, Marco Nannini conducts a Post Mortem on the 9/16ths (so far) of starters who won't be finishing. Autopilots (mountings and rams) and hydro generators (basically running a propeller in the water to turn a generator) are high on the list of problems. And many of the participating sailboats are light displacement racing boats, designed to surf but less robust than cruisers. #sailing
