Between their coursework, client work, athletics, and extracurriculars, the students of Rem on Campus balance multiple responsibilities. Yet they are constantly seeking ways to enhance their professional development and give back to their communities. Today, we're shining a light on Davis Recht – a senior at our Vanderbilt University Chapter studying Climate Studies and Public Policy. In 2020, Davis founded the nonprofit, Project Campfire which works to promote financial equity and inclusion for children in the Greater Cincinnati area looking to attend summer camp! Davis and his team have worked diligently to provide clothes, hygienic products, bedding, and other camp necessities to campers to give them a meaningful summer experience. Davis joined Rem and Company in 2022 to learn even more about the intersection of social impact and business! He worked on teams with other Vanderbilt students to help support small businesses in Nashville. So when it was time to scale his business in the fall of 2023, Davis knew who he wanted to help! Project Campfire provides 1,500+ items and packed 540+ weekly mail packages to children in need. We are so proud of Davis’ continued efforts to serve his community and for the opportunity to be a small part in helping Project Campfire further expand its impact! If you are a current student looking to help nonprofits such as Project Campfire or are interested in learning more about the experience you can gain through Rem on Campus, visit https://lnkd.in/eZteUi8. #ChapterUpdate #CommunityEngagement #Achievements #GetInvolved #ProfessionalDevelopment #ConsultingCareers #BusinessDevelopment #GiveBack #StudentEntrepreneur #StartUp #Innovation

🌟Imagine a World Where Your Child’s Education is Secure 🌟 As parents, we often find ourselves lost in thought, staring at our little ones, wondering what the future holds for them. I recently watched my 2-year-old, Ritvi, pretend to be a Pilot, and it got me thinking — what if his college fund was as ready as his imagination? That’s when I discovered a Children's Fund with a history of 13-16% returns, designed to turn those playful dreams into degrees. Here's a moment that sparked the thought: 👨🚀 Ritvi's Night time fun activity: Every night, Ritvi pretends she is a pilot and fliers her plane, and she lovingly says "Papa, see I am flying a plane.” That was the point which sparked the thought that there should be a separate fund for her education. No matter what, I want to have a sizeable fund with which she can study whatever she wants. Being in mutual funds, I did have SIP for her in open-ended fund, however, I have seen ample people make the mistake of withdrawing all the funds for buying a home, a car or any other investments. I wanted this fund to be untouched. 📈 The Launchpad Journey: Fast forward to today, I have planned the SIP for her education in a separate children's benefit fund which has a lock-in, and when Ritvi turns 20, she can use this fund to pursue whatever she desires. The best part of doing this? The peace of mind, knowing that Ritvi's aspirations to touch the sky won't be grounded by financial constraints. Let's make these dreams a tangible reality. We have launched the Beta version for young parents to start investing for their kids separately. ➡️ [Invest for your child] - Learn more at www.thelaunchpadfund.com #ChildEducation #InvestingInDreams #FutureLeaders #TheLaunchpadFund

Microschools allow students, families, and teachers to design an education ecosystem driven by passion, engagement, and quality. I am excited to see how the #microschool movement allows traditional public schools to learn from incubated innovation. This system transformation will require more connection between charters, micro-schools, and school districts moving forward. Empowering Schools to Combat Chronic Absenteeism | Attendance Strategist | Education Equity Advocate
Hey school leaders, are you fully tapping into parent power? Here are 3 ways you should be partnering with parents to combat chronic absenteeism. - Parents can spearhead attendance initiatives. - Parents can donate items for raffle or incentives. - Parents understand what motivates their children. When schools and parents team up, the results can be game-changing! By working together, we can build stronger connections that help boost attendance and create a school environment where kids want to be. Parents know their kids better than anyone. They know what motivates them, and that is 🔑. We all know that students are way more likely to show up when something meaningful awaits them. Whether it’s a cool reward or just knowing their family is involved, that extra motivation can make all the difference. And parents have the power to help shape those moments that get kids excited about school. 🚨Download my freebie for more ways to involve parents and combat chronic absenteeism in your building. 🚨https://lnkd.in/d9P4w79z #princials #attendance #parentengagement #chronicabsenteeism
