It's time to meet another person! 🎉 Maciek has returned to Poland after years of working in AKRA GmbH, residing in Hamburg, and has been part of AKRA Polska for over a year now🏢. He is probably best known by the Olsztyn office, where he comes from and visits, but it's time for all of us to learn more! Take a peek at the answers below 👀 Why did you decide to work as a programmer❓ 🎤 7 years ago the job market looked very different than it does now with low unemployment. As a laboratory diagnostician, I was unable to find a job in my profession that would allow me to survive. After many weeks of walking around with printed resumes and bouncing off doors, my roommates dropped the subject of IT to me. The entry threshold then was very low compared to today. A few weeks of learning JS was enough to start working on recommendation scripts for e-commerce 🖥️. Where did you get your education/experience 📚❓ 🎤 Education- YouTube, Udemy, Skillshare. The latter platform seems to have lost its popularity, but at one time there was a lot of material there. As for gaining experience- it required me to be a bit proactive to work with the mentor assigned to me. After joining Accra in Hamburg, I worked on an application for the administration to gain some confidence and brush up on my German in the meantime. It took about 8 months before I was sent on a project for a German client. What projects do you enjoy working on the most❓ 🎤 I most enjoy working with other experienced developers. I had the opportunity to work for about 8 months with a real "seasoned" one and I learned more than I had in the few years before 👨💻. What do you do in your spare time❓ 🎤 I'm currently putting the finishing touches on my new house and going for walks in the woods. More demanding sports have to wait due to a minor injury, but I want to explore the area by bike in the near future and get back to running 🚶♂️🚴♂️. What don't you tolerate in IT work ❌❓ 🎤 Reinventing the wheel 🤷♂️. I don't think I need to expand on the thought. #akra #akrapolska #meetus #meetourteam #jsdeveloper #experience #education #afterhours #ourteam #developer #programming #javascript

You can't get a 100k job in Europe as a Jr. Software Engineer. You also can't get 150k+ jobs in Europe as a Mid-level/Sr. Software Engineer. Big Tech in Switzerland basically doesn't exist and getting 200k-500k there in your 20s/30s is impossible. Swiss companies (non big tech) don't pay 100k to juniors and 150k+ to seniors. Getting a big tech job in Europe is the most competitive thing ever and virtually impossible to obtain if you are not an Oxford graduate. Working for big tech in Europe in a country like Spain, Poland, Romania, Serbia etc., wouldn't allow for a good lifestyle because these countries are poor. You'll be poor too! If you get new evidence about the job market in Europe that contradicts your existing beliefs, the smartest thing you can do is to instantly and loudly reject it! Learning new things and changing your mind is a real threat to your sense of identity and you should try your best to maintain your existing ideas without any alteration for as long as possible! Happy April 1st, everyone! 🎉 To learn about very dangerous and disturbing ideas, check comments ;) #AprilFools

If you are asking if SFW is for you. 📍Are you a person seeking clarity and mentorship from a global citizen who has worked at the Museum for the United Nations and understands what it takes to work globally remotely and the skillset required for such roles? 📍Are you an undergraduate with several months on your hands due to holiday, strike, or waiting on IT and the only skills you see people gain are vocational skills (hairdressing, fashion, etc), but you know this is not what you want? Do you want to achieve a TRANSFERABLE SKILLSET that can serve you in any Tech-enabled organization, whether in your country or globally? 📍Are you a woman who wants to change her career path to the tech space to have skills you can use to serve as a virtual assistant to digital creators or start a virtual assistant brand/career but has not found the right place to learn all aspects of this profession? 📍Are you a woman who wants to integrate back into the workforce after a break, but your previous job did not prepare you for the current demand of the 21st-century workforce? 📍Are you a youth (15 upward) who is literate and wants to get a chance to work in a tech-savvy work environment so you can gain skills you can use to earn in the next six months? 📍Are you a graduate who has realized that schooling and education are not the same and that you can’t get a choice of job because you lack the experience and skills to work in the 21st-century workforce? No one is giving you the chance to work/intern/ volunteer for them to gain the skills and clarity you lack. If You Answered Yes To Any Of The Questions Above. Tell Yourself Congratulations Because Today Is The Day We Get To HELP YOU Using Our Skilled For Work ACADEMY AT I-Train Africa. This is the right place to start as we offer you clarity and guidance before the skills required.
