Meet Giampaolo Meana, General Manager from our Qosina Europe office. Giampaolo works closely with our customers to understand their specific applications and helps select the components that best fit their technical and regulatory requirements. He travels to visit our customers and represents our team at European trade shows. 🔹How long have you been with the company? Almost 5 years 🔹What is your favorite part about your job? I like finding interesting projects, new market opportunities, introducing new products to customers, establishing key relationships, and improving existing sales structures. 🔹What inspired you to join Qosina? Qosina’s business model is distinct in the way it approaches the market. This presents new opportunities for me to not only begin an exciting new project but also to expand my knowledge. 🔹What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working? I've been playing volleyball since I was 12 years old, and I currently compete with a senior mixed team of women and men. I also enjoy spending time with my children, walking my dog and shopping in Milan. 🔹What’s the best book you’ve read recently? I don't have a recent book to offer, but I can recommend a book I read often. It helps me to focus on the positive when anything is troubling me, and it’s called Fish Philosophy by Stephen C. Lundin. It speaks about how people self-motivate and find a way to turn the negative into a positive, as well as how to enjoy the aspects of your job that may appear negative. Industry Commissioner Emiliano Cerro: "The #StevanatoGroup chooses Cisterna di Latina. Another major multinational deciding to invest in the city, with significant employment implications." The Stevanato Group is stepping up its investments in Italy with the opening of a modern facility covering 65,000 square meters in the pharmaceutical district of Latina. The announcement of the acquisition of an #industrial complex in Cisterna di Latina on May 27 underscores the goal of transforming the site into a specialized facility for high-value-added products, involving the hiring of 190 highly specialized professionals. Present in Latina since the '90s due to the acquisition of Alfamatic, active in pharmaceutical packaging, the Group currently employs 150 people. The new facility, in proximity, will meet the growing demand for high-value-added solutions in Europe and beyond. #Investments of approximately 150 million euros in new facilities in the United States and China, expected by 2024, further solidify the Group's global presence. Industry Commissioner Emiliano Cerro highlights the efforts of the administration led by Mayor Mantini to expedite the administrative procedural process and authorization issuance. Cerro emphasizes the #strategic role of Stevanato in the Asi area of Cisterna, contributing to the #improvement of #water network services. The Stevanato's choice to invest in the Municipality of Cisterna is recognized as a significant boost to #local #employment.
