LIAONING CYNDA'S INNOVATIVE HERBICIDE, FEPROXYDIM, HAS BEEN GRANTED ISO NAME Recently, Liaoning Cynda's herbicide Feproxydim was granted the ISO generic name, marking a significant milestone in the company's technological advancement and product innovation in agrochemistry. Previously provisionally approved in November 2023 under the development code CDH17128, Feproxydim displays a molecular formula of C24H34ClNO4S and is identified by the CAS number 2839324-63-7. Feproxydim, a compound of ACCase inhibitors (DIMs), demonstrates efficacy in controlling grass weeds resistant to ALS inhibitors, ACCase inhibitors (FOPs), and hormonal herbicides in paddy fields. Notably effective against Barnyard grass, moleplant seed, and paspalum distichum, it exhibits no cross-resistance with Penoxsulam, Cyhalofop-butyl, Metamifop, Quinclorac, among others. The patented Feproxydim product will be available in 10% EC formulation, with rice being its main target crop.
