Remote work is what i have been craving for, but unfortunately I am yet to get one.. Even if it's a Tech support role for a start, i will be very grateful to activate the experience.
There's a hidden (class) bias here between "outsourcing" and "remote work." Outsourcing IS remote work, it's just remote work in a country where the average pay is less (than the presumed West).

This morning there are multiple new leads for remote work in my inbox and the trend is for this number to grow consistently. Typically, these roll in continually via LinkedIn, mainly. Nobody gets hired anymore based on how custom tailored their business suit looks. You have to show up with a resume full of documented accomplishments to get an interview.
Hello CROSSOVER, in my opinion, to fill high-level management positions with top talent, you CANNOT want to conduct an online assessment and believe that the top talent you are looking for will be interested. For my part, I'd rather do without such dubious and disrespectful personnel leasing that doesn't even bother to deal with a very successful and very well-educated person like me. I don't have time for such irritating "job requests". Have fun with the AI, who will surely do this "JOB" just as well. BR Michael Pohl

1moIt is quite possible that remote work is such a desirable advancement that it will become the normative work mode as huddled higherarchies in employment become ever more antiquated and die out entirely. With modern communication tech growing like dandilions in spring, huddling together to work may well die out except where the work itself dictates that the workers huddle together. A future where mass concentrations of people persist at all, for any activity, is rapidly becoming obsolete.
