This marks SOFIAC's first multi-residential partnership, with hopes to inspire similar initiatives nationwide. The project, valued at over $2 million, is being completed in collaboration with Ingénierie Carmichael Ltée. and aligns with our common climate change objectives. The main energy efficiency measures planned in this project are: ✅ Implementation of a control system for better energy efficiency; ✅ Installation of a heat recovery system; ✅ Installation of high energy efficiency electric heating networks; ✅ Installation of a hot steam conservation system; ✅ Installation of highly energy efficient lighting networks "The board is conservation and efficiency minded. Tor del Sale: the transformation of an industrial site. The demolition of the 195-meter-high chimneys, which dominated the skyline for more than 40 years at the Tor del Sale thermal power plant in Piombino (Italy) marked a milestone in this major redevelopment project carried out together with Tor del Sale Spa to give life to a new tourist and nautical center. The plan is part of our ambition to progressively phase out thermal power plants at a global level guided by the vision of a just and inclusive energy transition, through the development of initiatives that generate a positive impact on local communities, as we are doing with the two Just Transition tenders in the Iberian Peninsula awarded to Endesa, in Andorra (Teruel, Spain) and Pego(Abrantes, Portugal).
