As you plan client visits for the upcoming quarter and beyond, you should try this approach. 👇 Instead of the standard, "Hey Customer, I'll be in your area and would love to take you to lunch and talk about our partnership and review your account…" Consider this: "Hey Customer, I’m planning a trip to your area next quarter and would like to do some volunteer work with you and the team in your local community while I’m there.” This shared experience will not only strengthen your professional bond but also create a lasting positive impact and will turn a typically transactional meeting into one that is committed to building a genuine connection. 🙃Lately, getting ghosted has become a common occurrence. As a Business Development Representative, I understand it's part of the job. However, I wanted to share some benefits of connecting and having conversations with us. 💭Firstly, we are not sales representatives. There's no initial pressure to buy anything from us. We just want to get to know you, your needs, and your challenges. ❤️ 😆Secondly, you technically get free consultancy services. You are able to ask us any business enhancement questions. A free 15-30 minute consultation in most industries are unheard of these days. After meeting, you're left with some sense of direction for your business. 🔗 Lastly, we are trained to find qualified connections. If we're reaching out to you, it means there's some value on the table. We've found you because we see the value in a future relationship. 🤍All in all, BDRs want to spread awareness about our companies while helping and connecting others in our industry. Not all of us send out auto-generated messages.
