Dinesh Karthik’s reflection captures the bittersweet nature of sports: "There’s no fairytale ending in sport. There’s always a hard day, one day which doesn’t go your way." Last evening’s #IPL game between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) showcased the essence of #sportsmanship and resilience in sports. Despite a promising turnaround with #RCB winning six consecutive matches after a tough start to the season, the game reminded us that victory isn't guaranteed and that every team faces setbacks. RCB’s showcased true mental toughness and team dynamics. Their ability to bounce back from early defeat demonstrated remarkable self-belief and collective effort. As for resilience, athletes and teams that recover from setbacks and focus on what's within their control achieve significant accomplishments, regardless of the final outcome. And we hope that they come back stronger next year. And as the legendary coach John Wooden once said, “Success is never final, failure is never fatal. It's courage that counts.” This perspective encourages athletes to value their progress and #process, rather than the #outcome. #sport #sportsmanship #sucess #failure #resilience #ipl #rr #rcb #cricket #mindset #attitude #letsgetpsych #nikitasingh #psychologist #sportspsychology

MotoGP™ will not return to India in 2024 and instead will make a comeback in March 2025 in a possible season opener. The reasons have been explained as “operational considerations”. “Following advice from the Government of Uttar Pradesh as the state continues its long-term commitment to MotoGP️, the sport will return to Buddh International Circuit in March 2025, when weather conditions are expected to be optimal for spectators and riders alike,” a statement said. Meanwhile, the MotoGPBharat, scheduled for September 20-22 will be replaced by the Kazakhstan race which had been postponed in May due to Central Asian floods. It will be first race on the Asian leg of the calendar. #MotoGP #IndianGP #KazakhstanGP #BuddhInternationalCircuit #MotoGP2025 #Motorsports #RacingSeason #MotoGPFans #GPUpdate #MotoNews #MotoGPRacing #MotoGPBharat #BharatGP #469Motorsports #469MotorsportsIndia

VINESH, The champion 100 Grams Crush a Billion Dreams: . We could have never imagined that a mere 100 grams would weigh down our dreams. Vinesh, the champion, has been disqualified from the Olympics for exceeding the weight limit by just 100 grams. While everyone is talking about it, we can’t even imagine Vinesh's mental state right now. Years of hard work, culminating in a disqualification over a mere 100 grams of extra weight, how is Vinesh surviving this news when she was just a few steps away from gold? This is injustice to Vinesh to every Indian…. No matter what, we stand with her. We Indians stand strong. Vinesh, you are already a champion in our eyes. There is always a next time, and we know you will turn the tables. Vinesh had qualified for the finals, assuring at least a silver, possibly gold. Now, 100 grams have cost everyone dreams. But there are few things I want to ask. - What was the supporting team doing if Vinesh gained some grams in a few hours? - How did they not check her weight before the final Olympics weigh-in? Shaving her hair or an hour of exercise could have saved those 100 grams. Who is responsible for this blunder? #Vineshphogat #olympic2025 #Paris #vinesh #Wrestlers #Olympicmedal

Fans to become Moto GP sponsors 🏁 At the weekend, MotoGP™'s Gresini Racing (currently home to the Marquez brothers) launched a new world-first fan powered sponsorship program. Fans can purchase their own "micro-sponsorship package", with an entry point of $125. 👉 What does this mean? Fans can access exclusive benefits normally reserved for celebs or million dollar sponsors— VIP Paddock Experiences, name placement on the bikes, Zoom calls with team members, signed merch etc. Different tiers of sponsorship deliver different benefits, and fans are also entered into competitions to win prizes like a race-ready Ducati Panigale V4S(!)🏍️ 👉Why is this development interesting? With fans getting a bit sick of seeing celebrities in the paddock (see this post for context : https://lnkd.in/garCR_KF) and complaining about opportunities not being given to them, motorsport teams across series should take note. If you want to drive fan love and build loyal communities, bringing fans closer to the riders they love is a great strategy. Press release here: https://lnkd.in/gMRNwPvj #Motorsportmarketing #MotoGP #GresiniRacing #MarcMarquez #Fanexperiences #F1

The graph of motorsports in India- 📈-📉. MOTOGP SET TO DROP INDIA FROM 2024 CALENDAR, TO BE REPLACED BY POSTPONED KAZAKHSTAN. and here we go again!! ➡️In 2023, The championship made a much-anticipated visit to Buddh International Circuit. ➡️Motor racing in India may be a niche sport but The MOTOGP in September 2023, ace showed there is a small but passionate group of hardcore fans. ➡️The future of motorsport in India had looked pale when the BIC was dropped from the 2014 Formula One calendar. ➡️The hopes were getting high as people were just coming out of Cricket and want to watch more than that, That's where motorsports was coming into limelight. ➡️With Formula E droped Hyderabad after just a single year, MOTOGP is likely to be the only international championship to visit India in 2024 but ended up canceling it. Wonder why people ask why there is not any other sport in India, If this is gonno be the future? Thoughts⬇️ 📸:Autosport.
