With both of us hit hard with illness and ill-prepared for the week I 'phoned-a-friend' and asked Gemini to plan my dinner menu. The prompt, "Find five dinner recipes this week with each recipe requiring no more than 5 ingredients. Include a shopping list." I took the shopping list for a quick trip to the grocery store and didn't have to think. Now the menu is on the fridge and everyone knows what the plan is. Another helpful approach is to provide a list of ingredients on hand and ask for suggestions on what can be made with what's on hand. One improvement I will make on my next prompt is to consider side dishes and toppings when crafting the shopping list. The fajitas we had last night was missing sour cream.
