Looking for the perfect holiday snack to bring to your Christmas parties this year? 🎄 Try this saltine cracker toffee recipe! Directions below: Step 1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a baking pan with foil or parchment paper. Step 2. Arrange the crackers in a single layer on the pan. Step 3. Cook butter and brown sugar until melted and smooth, stirring slowly. When it begins to bubble, cook for 3 minutes while stirring. Step 4. Pour evenly over the crackers. Step 5. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate morsels evenly over the top. Bake for 1 minute and spread chocolate evenly over the surface. Sprinkle with pecans. Step 6. Let stand until nearly set and then chill until firm, at least 2 hours before breaking into pieces.

Make a well in flour for yeast to keep it from getting wet. ✳️Grease 3-12 inch pans or 1-12?in and a 12 X 18. inch cookie sheet. ✳️Divide dough in required amounts. Roll out or place in pan and pat. ✳️Top with filling and bake at 425 degrees or until crust is golden brown.

This is a great way to repurpose your leftovers, we made a chicken fajita dinner last night and took the leftover chicken and peppers and onions and repurpose them into chicken and beef empanadas. The peppers and onions were diced up finely in food processor and add it into the ground beef.. This dough is very easy to make: 1 1/4 cups of milk warmed to 90°., 2 1/2 teaspoons of yeast, let those two proof a bit, then you want to add 1 stick of melted butter, two eggs, 1/4 cup of sugar, 1 tsp salt, 4 1/2 cups of flour and mix that with your dough hook until it is smooth dough and pulls away easily... Let that dough rest and rise for about an hour, punch it down and in about another half an hour it'll be ready to fry up.. You can also use this same dough recipe to make fried donuts! #leftovers #empanadas #BudgetFriendly #alex_anthony_realtor
