That is why I am constantly pushing for crypto companies to hold more non-industry events.
Question for you guys.
What is better for Swan Bitcoin hosting an industry event with 10K people showing up and you build your brand to people and companies that already have heard of you?
Or hosting a 50 person event where no-one has heard of you, and you get one new customer but you educate 50 new people to your product? Of the 10K people at your conference none will be talking about your product a week later. (They will be talking about the event ALG produced.) A week later those 50 people you introduced will all be talking about our product. It kills me at a tech conference when the very few newbies in attendance come up to me the "Event Producer" to get educated about a technology, product, or service. Pro Tip #1 Shift your Brand Awareness campaign away from your industry competitors and focus on educating the newbies.
