Everyone wants to move to Dubai!! But no one is ready to leave their comfort zones or take the risk. Lately, I've been getting 7-8 queries a day about opportunities here, so let’s get real for a moment: Dubai isn’t a magic carpet ride. 🧳 It’s full of possibilities, but it requires hustle, dedication, and, most importantly, stepping out of your comfort zone. Before you dream big, here are a few things to consider: Financial Cushion – Dubai is expensive. Have at least 3-4 months of expenses saved. Don't expect a job the minute you land. Housing – Research well. Accommodation isn’t cheap, so plan ahead. Job Market – Know your industry’s demand. Network with people already in Dubai. Legal Stuff – Make sure your visa, work permits, and documents are sorted. Cultural Adaptation – Dubai is diverse, but you’ll need to adapt to its unique way of life. Dubai is for the risk-takers, the doers, and those ready to grow beyond limits. If you're serious about moving, prepare for the grind, embrace new challenges, and most importantly—take action. 🌟 📩 DM me if you’re ready to take the leap! P.S: If you're expecting to get hired from PAK, rethink your plans. 😉 P.P.S: Real answers only. No sugarcoating here! 😄 #DubaiLife #TakeTheLeap #ComfortZone #DubaiOpportunities #RelocationJourney #BoldMoves #MovingToDubai #PlanningForDubai

3 things to know before moving to Dubai. Since I arrived 10 years ago, I have seen remarkable change and its impact on the Dubai market. 1. A cosmopolitan city growing with diversity and inclusion. Especially as 80% of Dubai’s population consists of expatriates. And while this poses the challenge of cultural adaptation, people tend to be more kind and open and inclusive leaving you with the single thought of “the enrichment of meeting wonderful people.” Within companies, diversity and inclusion only helps companies grow. Looking in, at OUI AGENCY , we are a diverse collective that bring opposing points of view, but are united in our principle of being open to those differences and finding a common ground that can be agreed upon by all. 2. Patience and competence. Key points to consider when looking at professional relationships specifically, collaborations can take longer because employers or investors in the region need to know you and test you before investing in you (before signing contracts and agreements). However, the juice is worth the squeeze. I speak from my own experience when joining my first agency, Havas. My personal suggestion, work hard, give it your best, and you’ll find that doors open for you. I recently hired a young but ambitious 21-year-old man that works harder than most people I know. And he deserves the recognition and responsibilities he has been given. 3. A city of opportunities. But only for the ones that want to put in the effort. I find that most people here are focussed on working to succeed, and their ambitions act as motivation to stay focussed on ones’ own goals, whatever they may be. It is also easy to find like-minded people and create a strong network here that further pushes you towards career growth that is faster than most other cities.

I've had several people reach out asking why I made the move from Ireland to Dubai recently. I figured I'd share my reasons here for those who are curious or considering making a similar move themselves. For me, the main driving factors were: Career Opportunities: Dubai is a global business hub with numerous multinational companies based here. The job market is thriving across various industries, offering exciting roles and growth potential. Tax Benefits: Dubai has no personal income tax, which can be a significant financial advantage, especially for high-earners. Diverse Culture: As an expat hub, Dubai is a melting pot of cultures, making it an enriching experience to live and work in such a cosmopolitan environment. Sunny Weather: Coming from the often gloomy Irish weather, the year-round sunshine and warm temperatures in Dubai were definitely appealing for me. Safety: Dubai is widely regarded as one of the safest cities in the world, with a low crime rate and strict laws, providing a secure environment to live and work in. This morning, Amelia Popping and I discussed why Dubai has proven to be an excellent choice for both of us so far. The city offers a high standard of living, safety, and countless opportunities for personal and professional growth. If you're thinking about relocating, I strongly encourage you to look into Dubai as an option. And if you have an interest in the real estate market, please don't hesitate to drop me a message to find out more information! #DubaiRealEstateAgent #IrelandRealEstate #UKRealEstate #PropertyConsultant #ClientManager #InvestmentAdvisor #RealEstateTrends #TaxFreeLifestyle

Dubai is touted as a land of opportunities, but today, I’m here to give you a reality check. Dubai’s appeal is undeniable—it's a global hub for business, innovation, and luxury. Yet writing your name in Dubai's success stories is not as simple as you think. → Despite tax-free incomes, the cost of living eats up a significant portion of your earnings. → Success often relies not just on what you know, but who you know. → Delayed invoices are a common issue. → Office and retail space rentals are subject to rapid fluctuations, making long-term budgeting and cost management challenging. → Standing out in a pool of global talent is very exhausting. → The legal and business frameworks are complex and time-consuming to understand. → No concept of work-life balance → The intense heat for most of the year is a significant deterrent. Beyond the glamour of success stories lies a reality of constant challenges. But there are opportunities for those ready to commit, to learn, and to persevere. Those who stand firm through the trials can find their names in the success stories that inspire the next generation of dreamers and doers.
