Deafening screeches, summer breezes... It must be cicada season! 🦗 If you've ever wondered why cicadas are so loud, it's because male cicadas have a lot to do in just a couple of weeks: shed their exoskeleton, find a mate, and (hopefully) avoid becoming lunch for birds, bats, or ants.
