As the U.S. prepares to compete with China and other adversaries, #intelligencesharing with key partners will be vital. In practice, however, intelligence sharing is beset with difficulties, including limited trust, poor bureaucratic procedures, and under-resourcing. Dr. Daniel Byman, director of the Warfare, Irregular Threats, and Terrorism Program, argues that the U.S. should consider relaxing some security requirements with allies and helping them improve their procedures, sharing more low-risk information, dedicating more resources to increase the speed of sharing, expanding existing partnerships, and fostering new relationships. In a world where global order seems to be unraveling, two of the most powerful intelligence agencies, MI6 and CIA, came together in a historic meeting at Kenwood House in London. The rendezvous of the two spymasters, a rare and significant event, signals a united front in navigating the complexities of modern espionage and global security threats. As the world grapples with chaos and uncertainty, this clandestine meeting serves as a reminder that even in the shadows, collaboration and cooperation can be powerful tools in shaping a more stable future. follow the link https://lnkd.in/dTsAUhXc #MI6 #CIA #GlobalSecurity #IntelligenceCommunity #Geopolitics #KenwoodHouse #London #Spymasters #GlobalOrder"

new hype created by FBI director Christopher Wray has numerous socio-economic, geopolitical and geostrategic spillover repercussions especially for the emerging bilateral relations between China and USA. China has been in the line of fire from the cyber-attacks affecting its 16 industries mainly education, government, scientific research, national defense and military industry, and transportation. The APT targeted the education and scientific research fields of China and exploited compromised resources, such as stolen document data and contact information, to carry out further precise attacks and expand the success of the attack. It is suggested that US officials and hawkish politicians sitting in Joy Biden government should simply stay away from Taiwan and avoid creating conflict with China and avoid interfering in its internal affairs and sovereignty.
