I understand the power of social media as it has helped me thrive as a small business. I put myself out there, I expect to get pushback, criticism and negativity. I can process it and move on with my objectives. However, when I see Kids immersed in their screens when a “human interaction” opportunity could possibly help them more, I stop and think about what could, should we do as a “free” society? Are they able to process the negativity, comparisons and “fake” lives on line? So, what is the proper balance between technology and human? We do know this - technology is rarely defeated - it pushes forward regardless. To me it will be what we decide (society, countries, parents, voters), we want for our children(the most vulnerable), minimize the risks while allowing tech to help make their lives better not worse. #mesh meshhelps.org #socialmedia #toyindustry #gamesindustry #retailindustry #toys

1: The Daily Struggle Every day, millions of us reach into our bags or pockets and instead of finding our charging cable ready to go, we’re greeted with a tangled mess. It’s as frustrating as it is universal. I’ve been there too many times myself, especially during my travels. This constant struggle with tangled cables was what led me to think there had to be a better way. At snapmag, we envisioned a world where your technology complements your lifestyle seamlessly, without such basic hitches. This wasn’t just about making minor improvements but tackling a widespread issue that many face daily. Welcome to my 10-day series on tackling the tangled mess of cables. Tomorrow: “The Idea is Born”

The #Apple Vision Pro gives a glimpse into the exciting future that lies ahead. Although the hardware itself is great, the current form may not be suitable for everyone. I am keen to see the technology evolve to a point where it can be incorporated into smaller forms, such as eyeglasses. Imagine being able to map screens of tasks, dashboards, announcements, and other information around the walls of your workplace. This presents tremendous opportunities for #digitalsignage and screen industries. It's an exciting time to be alive, and I can't wait to see what Apple has in store for the next generation of Apple Vision Pro. It's also fascinating to see other companies like #meta and #google competing in this race. #screensthatcommunicate ScreenCloud
The Apple Vision Pro is a perfect case study in screen psychology. When given total freedom in this digital environment, we naturally pin lots of screens wherever we need them most. > Gordon Ramsay videos in the kitchen > Work applications above your desk > Music streaming in the living room > Grocery list on the fridge We choose to be presented with relevant, dynamic and interactive information that can be served in the right location and at the right time. So why wouldn’t we want to replicate that in the workplace? #ScreensThatCommunicate

One of Jack Appleby's predictions for 2024! As a Gen X'er, I gotta say I love this. I agree wholeheartedly that Gen X'ers (and, ahem, Boomers) bring expertise that just can't be faked. I love this for us: The rise of Golden Creators. From Martha Stewart on the cover of Sports Illustrated to the Golden Bachelor becoming a cultural phenomenon, we are seeing the platforming of older creators and celebrities. Older creators bring a certain level of expertise, authenticity and depth that younger creators can not offer. This will be fueled by the authenticity, expertise, and depth that older creators bring to the platform, with Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha emerging as their primary audience. #2024predictions #genx #experience #authenticity

A little midweek inspiration for us all and a throwback to Apple’s iconic and timeless campaign “Think Different”. https://lnkd.in/eRA5NeAG This wasn't merely a slogan; it was a tagline for change—a call to action for the innovators, the dreamers, and the rebels to think outside the box. Today as we navigate the ever-changing landscape of the “New Communications Economy” this message “Think Different” couldn’t be more relevant. To do this we need to venture outside our comfort zones and be remarkable. With a “Think Different Mindset” we keep pushing our limits and defying the expected. In today's communication-driven world, your message is your most valuable asset. Make it meaningful. Lead with intention, inspire with fresh ideas, stand out and connect in ways never seen before. #ThinkDifferent #BrandInnovation #InspireChange #Breakthroughthinking EssenceMediacom
