Adobe announces to use USD as its go-to file format for interoperability! Anyone who has seen this video might have just been thrilled to know that adobe would be supporting so many software’s with such seamless interoperability! Well it’s partially true. Adobe uses usd to read mesh uv and other data in substance painter, but at the same time, we know not may software’s support usd in its full capacity. Blender definitely has support to read and write to USD. So how do max and maya fit in? Via FBX or OBJ. Yes, adobe announces its file format plugins which allo usd to reference the paths to fbx or obj files so that substance can import them as it is. Resize a precomposition in Adobe After Effects By resizing your precomp will affect how it looks in the main composition, especially if you are altering its scale properties directly rather than changing the composition settings. Adjust your workflow according to what fits best for your project.
