We've reached a milestone in rebuilding the Norwalk Fairfield Avenue Bridge that was demolished in May! With the addition of steel erected over the road by Yonkers Contracting Company, Inc. and CT-based crews, we are a huge step closer to reopening the bridge.

🚧 Road Construction Alert 🚧
What? Road construction and traffic pattern change.
Where? Eastbound lanes of Miller Road between Saturn Rd. and Edgefield Dr.
When? Starting March 11
Why? Contractors will close both eastbound lanes. The westbound lanes will be converted into a two-lane road (one lane going east, one lane going west). This traffic pattern is expected to last about three months. Work will then switch over to the other side. Expect that traffic pattern to last another three months. Please plan accordingly.

Proud Moments from the Thorneyfields Lane Bridge Project (2019)
Reflecting on one of our proudest achievements: the completion of the Thorneyfields Lane Bridge project in 2019. This was more than just a bridge repair; it was a testament to our unwavering commitment to safety, innovation, and sustainability.
The project involved intricate work, including concrete deck repairs, re-waterproofing, and the installation of advanced vehicular safety systems. We’re particularly proud of how we managed to maintain the flow of traffic on the M6, thanks to the innovative Mabey Cantilever Scaffold System.
Assembling the system off-network and installing it during nighttime lane closures not only ensured the safety of our team but also minimised disruption to the public.
Safety was our top priority throughout the project. When faced with the unexpected discovery of a larger-than-expected water main, we quickly adapted by installing a bespoke vibration monitoring system. This proactive approach protected vital utilities and mitigated any risk of flooding, keeping both our team and the public safe.
But our commitment didn’t stop at safety. Sustainability was at the heart of our compound setup. We carefully planned and executed our operations to reduce environmental impact, ensuring that our work left a positive legacy.
We look back with immense pride at how our team overcame challenges, upheld the highest standards of safety, and delivered a project that was as sustainable as it was successful. Hats off to everyone who contributed to making this project a shining example of what we stand for!
