Connecticut Technical Education and Career System’s Post

Congratulations to the thirteen CTECS students that were recently hired by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CT DOT)! 👏 These students from seven different schools represent various trade disciplines including Automotive Technology, Diesel and Heavy-Duty Equipment Repair, Automotive Collision Repair and Refinishing, and Precision Machining Technology. This is the second consecutive year that CTECS has partnered with the CT DOT to provide students with hands-on workforce experience. We're grateful for the continued support from CT DOT in providing meaningful employment opportunities for students, reinforcing the connection between education and industry. This partnership exemplifies how collaboration between schools and employers can strengthen Connecticut’s #workforce and provide students with a clear path to rewarding careers! 🔗 For more information on the partnership, visit: https://lnkd.in/ewu47w86 #CTE #CareerTechEd #AutomotiveTechnology #AutoTech #AutoCollision #CollisionRepair #Diesel #EquipmentRepair #PrecisionMachining

I can’t love this enough! Just one example of Gov. Ned Lamont’s workforce development initiatives.
