Our Executive Director made her way through the crowds at #AgProgressDays to visit X-Hab 3D's display. It was great to see various people stop and ask questions about the company, machine, and #3Dconcreteprinting. Big things happening for this company and we are thrilled to continue to be a part of their growth story.
Here's a brief testimonial from X-Hab 3D about working with the CTIDA:
"Our first contract for sale of a mobile 3DCP system came earlier than expected. We were still field testing our prototype and had not yet begun commercial production. The high-quality, heavy equipment components for our 3DCP systems are expensive and have long lead times. The back-loaded contract would have created a cash flow issue without bridge financing to cover the period until payment upon delivery. We were determined to find a way to perform on this contract, so we pulled out all stops to find a source that would provide the needed financing. College Township Industrial Development Authority (CTIDA) came through for us.
One of our founders knew about the CTIDA, which focuses on attracting manufacturing and R&D businesses. We approached CTIDA and made a “cold call” to the Executive Director, Keri Miller. Keri responded immediately, requesting our company’s due diligence package and details of the contract. Within days of receiving our due diligence package, CTIDA’s Executive Director called us to meet with their loan committee. A week later, CTIDA’s Board approved a short-term loan that enabled us to proceed with the contract. Thanks to CTIDA’s swift action, we delivered on the contract, received payment, and repaid the loan ahead of schedule.
Our relationship with CTIDA continues to grow, with benefits extending beyond funding. We are discussing potential expansion plans in College Township for our production facilities and constructing 3DCP houses. CTIDA has also expanded our network, introducing us to elected officials at various levels who may assist as we grow." - Bruce Kraselsky, CEO & Co-Founder
