Have you heard of colocation (colo) as a hosting option for your organization's IT infrastructure? 🤔 Colocation is a data center facility where you can rent space for your servers and other hardware, while maintaining full control over your equipment and software. This means you can enjoy the benefits of a secure, reliable data center without the expense of building and managing one yourself. If you're looking for a cost-effective and flexible hosting solution, consider colocation for your organization! 🎯 #colocation #datacenter #ITinfrastructure #developer

A SAN typically consists of a storage controller, which is a device that manages the storage devices, and a number of storage devices, such as hard disk drives and tape drives. The main benefit of a SAN is that it allows servers to access storage devices directly, without going through a network. This can improve performance, because the data does not have to travel through the network. ✅𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰: NetApp, Inc Hewlett Packard Enterprise Citrix Systems Online LLC Qlogic Consulting HITACHI DATA SYSTEMS CREDIT CORPORATION Nutanix, Inc. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Customer Review for #SANsymphony Robust Solution with Good Replication and Access Protection "Replication between servers is really the main function. It allows data to be available from two SANsymphony servers. Once the paths are discovered, the configured storage areas are automatically presented on the front-end links. Thanks to its simplicity of administration, the procedures are simple to carry out." https://lnkd.in/gXPztsJq #Replication #BusinessContinuity #HighAvailability #DataProtection

𝗔𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘆 Jos Zenner, 𝗖𝗧𝗢 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰 “The specific number of VMs that can be run on such a server depends on the VMs‘ resource requirements. If we‘re talking about lightweight VMs with light operating systems and applications, we can run 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗠𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿. However, if we‘re talking about standard VMs running on Windows, I would recommend four to six VMs at the most. This is because Windows is a resource-intensive operating system and running multiple VMs with high resource demands can strain the server. Of course, the exact number of VMs will also depend on the 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗩𝗠. If a VM is running a demanding application, it will require more resources than a VM running a less demanding application. Therefore, it‘s important to consider the software requirements of each VM when calculating the maximum number of VMs that can be run on a single server. For example, if you have four VMs with 16GB of RAM requirements, you can get away with less than 64GB of RAM for the server. In fact, 40GB of RAM may be sufficient enough. This is because virtualization allows the server to 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗔𝗠 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗠𝘀, so they don‘t all need to have the same amount of RAM. So, the number of VMs that can be run on a single server depends on a variety of factors, including the VMs‘ resource requirements, the operating system, the load of each VM, and the efficiency of virtualization. However, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, you can run multiple VMs on a single server to 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆.” ----- 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗱 & 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱! Your ServerLIFT® device platform lowers, but does not raise. While this is a rare occurrence, it is typically either a failure with the upper limit switch or a failure with the TouchStop®. For TouchStop issues, tap/press the TouchStop a few times and listen for 2 clicks. This will confirm that the switch that cuts the circuit in the TouchStop is fully disengaging. The lift should work normally now. If the issue is not with the TouchStop, we will troubleshoot the upper limit switch by asking you to remove the column cover, locate the blue and green wires, remove the wire bolts and twist the bottom set of wires together and close the circuit that controls upward movement. This overrides the basic micro switch. If the platform raises, we’ll know that the upper limit switch needs to be replaced and we’ll help you with that. https://bit.ly/3Ig1Y9A #customersupport #customerservice #datacenters #datacenterliftingequipment
