Message or text me, and you can get all the details at: https://lnkd.in/g43gNZ5p As is typical for group workouts, I had 47 "I'll try to come!" RSVPs so we had... 4 of us show up! LOLOLOLOL But guess what? We had a ton of fun and got a great workout! The game we played was Rock Paper Scissors! Here's how we turned it into a workout game: - Participants were divided into two teams and before each exercise, each team sent a representative to compete in Rock Paper Scissors. More on that in a second... - Next, we all did the same exercise for the same interval, and everyone counted how many reps they did in the interval. For example, if the interval was 45 seconds and the exercise was squats, each person did as many as they could and kept track of their rep count. - To score, you each earned 1 point for every rep you did for your team! - BUT, if your team won the Rock Paper Scissors, everyone on your team got to take 2 points per rep! Our teams today were Rob Endres and Ann Whitford Paul vs Colleen Paeff and me! And the winners were.... Rob and Ann! By a LOT! Check out the videos of some of today's workout!! We are all melting in this summer. But sticking your kids to AC is not a solution. Here are my 5 tips for your kids cool outdoor playtime. In this scorching summer, most parents prefer their kids staying at home in a cooler environment. But is that a right approach for kids? It is not. Neither is letting them play under the high sun all day. So, we choose to strike a balance. Here’s how: → Allow outdoor play in cooler hours (7-10 am or 5-7 pm) → Dress them in light, loose-fitted, breathable clothing → Educate them to take breaks to avoid overheating → Keep kids hydrated with water, buttermilk, etc → Play outdoor games in shady areas BONUS TIP: ↳ Keep an eye on their heatstroke symptoms like dizziness, flushed skin, fatigue, etc. Now the best part is: We used the same tips above to organize a Gully Cricket day at Champions Studio.
