Professor, Cornell Program in Infrastructure Policy Founding Director; Educating the next generation of global infrastructure leaders at both the undergraduate and graduate levels

On June 24, in my interview to Scripps News, I talked about the following issues: - The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) passed in 2021, despite its benefits, has not had the full impact we hoped for because of high inflation in the cost of construction materials. - The value of infrastructure is hard to overestimate, since it's a legacy that we inherit, improve or create, and then pass to the younger generation. - Both rural and urban communities must have infrastructure in good repair to allow for the economic prosperity of the country. https://lnkd.in/gdX4dUCb
