A rewarding day with EagleStar cadets! Just wrapped up an awesome training session with the Eaglestar onboarding familiarization class! Their curiosity about the maritime industry was infectious. Answering their questions and seeing their eagerness to learn was incredibly rewarding. It's clear they all have a passion for the sea, and that makes me excited for their futures. Their insightful questions delved into the heart of what makes a great crew: understanding onboard culture, respecting fellow crewmates, and navigating the challenges of teamwork, leadership, and stress management. By the end of the session, it was clear they had grasped the fundamentals and were eager to put their knowledge to the test. It's inspiring to witness their growth, and I have no doubt they'll make fantastic additions to the maritime field. 👋 Hello from the Think Tank Lab Team! 👋 Last week, our team got together to review our progress in the new project phase. As many of you know summer is a great time for these meetings since work tends to be a bit quieter, allowing us to reflect without the usual day-to-day rush. We checked in on our goals from the start of the year to see if we were meeting them or heading in the right direction. To do this, we used the Sailboat #Retrospective method, a great and straightforward way to reflect on our achievements and find areas for improvement. We highly recommend trying it out! You can learn more about it here: https://lnkd.in/dyCw7uEW During the retrospective, we realized how much we’ve accomplished this year, but we also identified a few blind spots that are easy to miss in day-to-day work. This is one of the reasons these meetings are so important to us. Besides evaluating our goals, we also focused on our teamwork. It was a great chance to connect and get to know each other better since our team is spread across two different organizations. This meeting again showed how important it is to make time to take a step back to evaluate the work done, as well as strategize for the future.
