Anyone with a creative project to bring to the light? I’m hosting a “Creative Project Show ’n Tell” CreativeMornings FieldTrip next week! FieldTrips are a FREE(!) Virtual Events that help you start your day off inspired. I’ll be hosting one next Wednesday, Aug 21st @ 10am PT / 1pm ET. Why did I choose to focus on sharing for my FieldTrip?  Many of my clients are working on amazing new ideas but don’t feel comfortable sharing about them online or even with friends. I wanted to create an opportunity for people to share what they’re workshopping or even just ideating in a feedback space only about affirmation and encouragement. (Also, sometimes it’s easier to share with people you don’t know and live vs. to your friends and/or online). Tempted to share something? DO IT! All kinds of creative projects are welcomed. Whether it’s a stand up comedy script, a live piano song, a hand made collage, an innovative business idea, or a home baking project — don’t feel like your project has to fit some mold of what it means to be creative. This is an opportunity to challenge yourself to let others into your process before things feel finished. Some time ago, I had the incredible opportunity to share the stage at a festival in Europe. Even though it’s been a while, the impact of that experience has stayed with me and continues to shape the way I approach my work and creativity. Being surrounded by passionate storytellers from around the world, each with unique perspectives, reminded me of the universal power of stories. Standing on that stage, discussing the ups and downs of the creative journey, I realized that storytelling knows no borders—it is a language we all speak, a bridge that connects us regardless of where we come from. The energy In that room was electric. Hearing stories of persistence, creativity, and overcoming obstacles reminded me of why we do what we do—why we push through the challenges of late-night editing, budget constraints, or that one scene that just won’t work. It’s because we believe in the power of ideas and their ability to touch people. Looking back, I realize how much moments like these are more than just career highlights—they’re reminders that our journey isn’t one we take alone. Experiments - they can be good or...! This video is an experiment. I'm not a videographer. I'm a beginner and have fun checking out tricks on iMovie. I make videos rarely and forget some of the tricks. Like I said, it's an experiment when it comes to videos and music! But, experiments are good, especially if they force you out of your comfort zone, allow you to learn something new and make you smile. Nonetheless, I'm debating, as I write this, whether I should even post it. I think I will. A bit of learning from "Rookie Smarts" by Liz Wiseman and "Brave, Not Perfect" by Reshma Saujani are filtering in for me.
