Why is it so hard to humanize the workplace? The answers to that are too many, and I won't oversimplify. But one clear and impactful influence is the conflict between: 1) people in search of empathy, and 2) operations tied to tradition. This is the heart and head - so long as they misalign, we can't move forward. We need to develop empathetic operations to create empathetic workplaces. 📅 "Operations Empathy: Framework and Metrics of Empathy" in March and April, Thursdays at 11am ET. ⭐ March 28th (https://lnkd.in/e85-rxnr) ⭐ April 11th (https://lnkd.in/emueAkMr) ⭐ April 25th (https://lnkd.in/egiUpZMY)

This defines 'Cohesiveness' Workplaces shine when we collaborate together and create an environment that's thriving 🚀 Now, that's not an easy thing to happen unless one is conscious enough to build this despite having differences. Different people. Different viewpoints. Different thought process. Despite the above...only if they have an aligned goal, can they collectively build & create the future. This to me gives the feeling of a workplace which can truly become aspirational. What in your opinion can make this happen? Follow Vivek Khandelwal for creating a thriving workplace culture 🙌🏼

The real secret to a successful and happy workplace isn't just about the hard stuff we can easily see and measure. It's also about empathy and soft skills - the softer, harder-to-see qualities. When we all value and work on being more empathetic, we make our workplaces into places where everyone understands, respects, and supports each other. #EmpathyAtWork #BuildingUnderstanding #SupportiveWorkCulture #ListenToAudioOneFYI BenefitsPRO Listen to AudioOne FYI: https://go.shr.lc/3xfpnXS

In 2024, let's pledge to infuse our workplaces with a profound commitment. It's not just about being physically present; it's about engaging our hands, heads, and hearts in unison. We aspire to cultivate a presence that goes beyond the surface, encompassing our mental, emotional, and even spiritual dimensions. True presence is a holistic alignment of our being, where every facet contributes to the collective energy of the workplace. It's about more than just showing up; it's about investing ourselves wholeheartedly. When our hands are industriously at work, our heads are immersed in thoughtful consideration, and our hearts are filled with genuine passion, then and only then can we claim true presence. This holistic presence is transformative. It's the catalyst that sparks innovation, nurtures collaboration, and fosters a positive work environment. In 2024, let's make a difference, not just in the tasks we complete but in the way we show up for each other. Together, let's create a workplace culture that thrives on the synergy of our hands, heads, and hearts. Here's to a year of meaningful presence and impactful contributions! #WorkplaceCulture #HolisticPresence

Empathy at Work? Why Bother When There's Profit to Be Made! We've all heard about the importance of empathy in creating a harmonious workplace environment. But let's be real, in the cutthroat world of business, who has time for emotions? Profit is king, and feelings are for the weak, right? Wrong! Turns out, cultivating empathy can boost your bottom line. Studies show that empathetic workplaces foster better collaboration, increased innovation, and higher employee retention rates. So, if you want to stay ahead of the game, it's time to start flexing those empathy muscles. Instead of mindlessly scrolling through social media during your lunch break, Try this: Observe your colleagues and jot down their possible thoughts, feelings, and motivations. It may seem silly, but this simple exercise can help you develop a deeper understanding of those around you. #Empathyrocks #leadershipskills #Fatemaspeaks
