This is the last week to participate in the first International (Donor) Due Diligence Survey (https://hubs.li/Q02jS4jh0)! BWF, Pyro.Solutions, and Xapien have partnered together to launch the first International Due Diligence Survey, with a newly expanded focus on UK, US and Australia. Due Diligence has been a longstanding, established responsibility of Prospect Development, yet there is still no 'go to' resource that helps departments benchmark their practice. As philanthropy becomes increasingly complex, the importance of thorough scrutiny and risk management in accepting donations has never been more crucial. This includes nonprofits being ready to address reputation management challenges, legal compliance, high-value global donations, and vulnerable donor populations. This survey helps us fill that gap of knowledge. My colleagues are conducting a research project on the motivations behind volunteering and contributions to charity brands and third-sector organizations in the UK. As part of their research, they are gathering valuable insights through an online questionnaire targeted at charity and third-sector organization volunteers. If you are a volunteer or a third-sector/charity organisation based in the UK, your assistance would be incredibly valuable to the research team 🔗 Questionnaire Link: https://lnkd.in/eaXXWFkq They will share the research findings and make a small financial donation to each third-sector organization/charity that submits at least one completed response by the end of July. This will be done via a lucky prize draw, and the donation will be made on behalf of one of the respondents who completed the questionnaire. 📣 Calling all decision-makers within UK national charities 📣 Survey on the relationship between the Non-profit sector and Trade Unions   In collaboration with Sara Abdaless and Mike Rigby at London South Bank University and Stephen Williams at the University of Portsmouth, we have launched a research project into the relationship between the non-profit sector and trade unions. We are inviting organisations in the non-profit sector to take part.     The focus of the project IS NOT the collective bargaining/representational role of unions in the non-profit sector but collaboration such as sharing resources, joint campaigning, advocacy, etc.   The research is supported by grant funding from the British Academy.   The research team has organized some preliminary interviews to better focus the research e.g., with NCVO and the TUC. We are now carrying out a survey of the two sectors.    How you can help  If you are an executive team member or trustee of a national charity, we very much hope that you will be interested in taking part in the survey on behalf of your organisation.
