Wow! Camrose, you SHOWED UP today! We had a full house and a great audience for the last stop on our FCC / FAC #YoungFarmerSummit which just so happened to be during #cdnagday 😊 Through this entire tour we had amazing speakers, had amazing opportunities to connect with others, and were given a ton of information. We hope you were able to takeaway just ONE thing from one of us, whether that be thinking outside of your box, digesting what you heard, or remembering to do something like unclench your butt. Some of my key 🔑 takeaways were: 🔑Every decision you make on your farm impacts you financially. Be it small, be it large - it has an impact. 🔑McDonalds makes most of its money from real estate 🔑Heifer and cow slaughter rates are at record highs, which is a 60-70 year low that is still driving the prices and likely will for the foreseeable future 🔑 When thinking about your succession plans and working with family, collaboration, communication, and compromise can be important for maintaining relationships.
