One of the standout insights from our 2024 Customer Impact Report was that 92.9% of our placements came from within the housing sector. While this shows that the sector offers strong development opportunities from within, it also raises a question - are we fully utilising the potential of talent from other industries who want to join the sector? The challenges facing the housing sector are increasingly complex, from rising costs to technological innovation and the need for more sustainable practices. To address these, organisations must strike a balance between the invaluable sector-specific experience and the fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and diverse expertise that external talent can bring.

Reflecting on 2024, I am filled with gratitude and pride as I look back on a year marked by significant achievements and positive business growth and we have successfully launched numerous projects that align with our mission at Sustainable Urban Renewal (SUR) in the China market. This year has been pivotal in fulfilling our ABC strategy: - **A for Awareness**: We made substantial strides in elevating market awareness of SUR's brand in China. Our commitment to sustainable practices has resonated with many, enhancing our visibility and reputation in the industry. - **B for Buy-in**: We are thrilled to have engaged with clients who possess asset portfolios that align with SUR’s values. Their conviction in our approach to uplifting commercial buildings through green and smart retrofits & operations has been evident, leading to signed contracts and strategic partnership agreements. - **C for Capabilities**: Our team is our greatest asset, comprised of talented individuals with extensive experience in various fields including asset operations, architecture and interior design strategy, leasing and marketing, smart facilities management, and business development. This diverse expertise has been instrumental in driving our success. As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited to focus on the two ‘D’s: **Data & Delivery**. We aim to enhance our integration of operational data to gather meaningful insights that will inform our strategies, ensuring effective delivery flows and outcomes for all our projects. 2024 has been a year of many accomplishments, including the signing of strategic partnerships and project agreements aimed at helping Keppel and our asset partners create low-carbon assets.
