We’ve got great news! A range of new ‘Ward Capital Projects’ to make improvements in all wards in South Ayrshire were approved at council yesterday. In addition to this, a £2m budget for promenade projects has been approved to be evenly distributed between the wards of Girvan, Ayr, Prestwick, and Troon. Two planned residential and commercial developments by Parkside Business & Community in Partnership (PBCIP) in Camden County will receive up to $17.7 million in New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) Aspire grants, the EDA announced.   Parkside Place One, near Euclid and Haddon avenues, will include 24 residential rental units of affordable housing on the top three floors with 25,000 square feet of commercial space on the first floor.   The other part of the development, Parkside Place Two, a three-story building also on Haddon Avenue, will include six residential units of affordable housing and 3,000 square feet of commercial space on the first floor that would be the new headquarters for PBCIP.   Read more: https://lnkd.in/eUYNhbPQ   #SouthJersey #EconomicDevelopment #Construction #GrantFunding

Work underway on £20m Beverley housing development 🏘️ Work has started on a £20m residential development in Beverley. Work is officially progressing in Telford to deliver a new housing scheme of private Build to rent and affordable within the major Station Quarter regeneration project. Our team in the West Midlands has been appointed by Nuplace and Telford & Wrekin Council to support the delivery of 189 new homes. The £45.7m scheme located just north of the town centre will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom townhouses and apartments, revitalising the Telford community through the first major project of its kind in the area, with Bowmer and Kirkland Ltd appointed to deliver the five-storey apartment block. It solidifies our commitment to Telford and the West Midlands region, as well as continuing to build on our decade-long partnership with the council, helping to rejuvenate communities through brownfield transformation. Our London & Thames Valley business was joined by public sector clients and consultants this morning in an insightful roundtable discussion looking at how we unlock residential delivery across the local authority landscape. The discussion, chaired by Cratus Group, focused on the challenges of reaching the delivery phase of schemes, the advantages of collaborative partnerships, and the importance of embedding sustainability as a standard practice. The conversation was an opportunity to highlight how bringing contractors to the table early can help develop robust solutions for complex, constrained sites while identifying opportunities for carbon reduction throughout the project lifecycle. Vistry Group have now exchanged contracts with Homes England to deliver 750 new homes on the site of the former City Hospital on Dudley Road in Birmingham. This transformative regeneration project will blend affordable, private, and rental homes to meet the city's growing housing demand.   The development will preserve the historic infirmary frontage by converting it into apartments, while also creating up to 8,000 sq ft of commercial and community space. With 35% of the homes designated as affordable, the project aims to provide more people with access to quality housing in a sustainable and vibrant community. Additionally, the plan includes significant improvements to local infrastructure, along with new public spaces and a park for future residents.   Phil McHugh, Managing Director of Vistry North West Midlands said: “This major regeneration scheme will transform a challenging brownfield site into 750 high-quality, mixed tenure homes and new commercial uses, bringing valuable investment to the city.”   This project is a key part of ongoing efforts to regenerate Birmingham and provide high-quality, affordable housing for the community.
