DOSPA chloride is a multivalent ionizable cationic lipid used in LNPs for mRNA vaccine and drug delivery applications. At physiological pH DOSPA Cl is cationic and at acidic pH it is further protonated, imparting a strong positive charge. When combined with helper lipids, DOSPA Cl has been shown to be an efficient mediator of DNA and RNA delivery to cells.
