Do YOU remember what the alphabet looked like in YOUR primary school class, small pieces of cardboard that still hang in one long row on the wall in many classrooms. So we all could and still SEE the entire Latin alphabet, with both CAPITAL and lowercase letters. 🧱 Lego Challenge: A Lesson in Integrity and Perseverance At our recent RKDplaN Day, we kicked things off with a Lego challenge in our designated teams. The goal? To see how we LEtGO of our lEGOs and persevere to improve with each iteration. By the third round, though, enthusiasm had waned, and most of us just wanted to get it done and move on. But it was Isaac, our newest team member who brought us back to the core value we strive for daily: integrity. They reminded us that even in the face of tedium and fatigue, getting things right matters—especially when the task feels repetitive or insignificant. In our work building digital products, this lesson couldn’t be more important. We all know the costs of pushing out sloppy code—there’s always more work in fixing mistakes than in checking things thoroughly before going live. One of my old hobbies is building Lego, particularly Technic Lego. I loved building it as a kid, and now my son shares that same love for Lego. It’s great to see him get just as excited about it as I did back then. We’ve got a big model to build together, and I can’t wait to dive into it with him. Now, we just need to find the time and space to actually build it! 😂 #thebusinessofstories

Clearly it means - they are not a mere toy company! It means LEGO exists to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow - the children! Their toys are the tools of inspiration among many other offerings from them. They don’t merely entertain the children. They inspire them to learn and build their ability to build a future! (https://lnkd.in/gy6ZCTcC.) This company was facing bankruptcy in 2003. Why? Because, they had forgotten what their “consumers” wanted & of course #financialprudence took a leave of absence. Not paying attention to consumer costed the business dearly. Getting distracted and spending money on unimportant things bled them whatever they earned. The video below explains how LEGO rebuilt itself brick by brick, painfully to regain the lost glory! Laser sharp focus on customer experience, exemplary financial prudence and resilience made this phoenix raise from its ashes! There’s a lesson here for every business: 1. The customer/consumer who experience our offerings ( products and services) are the real source of inputs to business strategy. Everything else is a distraction. 2.
