As part of my 2024 Boston Marathon fundraising, I am doing Superbowl squares! I am running on behalf of Best Buddies - a non-profit dedicated to creating opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The buy-in for each square is $25, which you can Venmo me, @Carleigh-Leyman ! Basic rules are as follows: Once all the squares have been selected, we will randomly pick numbers from 0-9 for each team in the Super Bowl, and assign that number to a particular row or column. These numbers represent the last number in the score of each team. In other words, if the score is AFC 17 - NFC 14, then the winning square is the one with an AFC number of 7, and an NFC number of 4. If you like reading stats checkout the below from our most recent PAK'nSAVE 2 week campaign for the local Social Supermarket. - $10,975 paid forward - 2,989 acts of generosity - 439 people impacted 85% of consumers chose a pre selected amount. - 47% donated 1% of their basket size - $2,382 - 22% donated 2% of their basket size - $2,178 - 16% donated 5% of their basket size - $2,986 Although this is super impressive it was encouraging to see that - 15% of consumers chose to select their own amount which came to $3,413 (31% of the overall generosity). These stats are very consistent with other campaign results which continues to remind me of 2 things. 1. Generosity has to be made easy. 2. Giving consumers choice is super important and aligned to generosity.

I am delighted to share that CooperVision and CooperVoice – Employee Forum have completed a two-year partnership and fundraising effort for Southampton Hospitals Charity – Southampton Children Hospital. With ALL our colleagues' generous support from Delta Park, MountPark, and Brunel Way, we raised an impressive £30,000 throughout many the series of events.   The team's dedication to making a difference in the lives of children and their families was recently celebrated in a discreet manner. Representatives from CooperVoice and the Distribution & Packaging Senior Managers Andrew Hinton and Gary Lonsdale presented the cheque to Beth Head of Charity Operations.   This success is a testament to the power of collective action to create positive change and inspire others to join in the spirit of giving. I am proud to be a part of this community of caring individuals who strive to make a difference in the world.
