🤔How many of your people will stay late on a Friday to take out the trash…without being asked? I’ve talked before about our high school intern, Rhett, and how hardworking and sharp he is. 💪 But let me brag on him again. Late Friday, when everyone else had left, Rhett popped his head into my office and asked if I was staying long enough for him to empty all the trash bins in the shop. 🗑️ Why? Because while he was upgrading some IT equipment and lighting in the shop he noticed the guy who usually does it on Fridays had forgotten. This wasn’t his job, it wasn’t on his to-do list, and nobody would have had 2 thoughts about it...it was simply something he noticed and took ownership of without being asked. 🙌 Rhett’s initiative and attitude are the qualities that will make him successful in life, whatever he decides to do: ✅ Seeing what needs to be done and just doing it. ✅ Taking pride in the work, no matter how small. ✅ Always striving to make a positive impact. That describes Rhett, and we’re lucky to have him on our team. 👏 I’d like to think our culture at Hill Manufacturing & Fabrication has helped instill some of these life lessons, but I think in his case he might be teaching us. Meet Gidi Hazan, US IT Manager at Kramer Americas! 🎉 Tell us a bit about yourself: “My journey with Kramer began as a summer job at the age of 16.5, assisting with wiring and manual manufacturing tasks. This early exposure led me to pursue practical electronics engineering in college. Post-graduation, I rejoined Kramer in the lab, eventually progressing to the R&D department. After a stint as a self-employed professional, I returned to Kramer, initially in the IT department, before relocating to Kramer US, where I've now been for 9 years. As the US IT Manager, I not only oversee the American team but also provide support to our colleagues in Singapore and Australia. Outside of work, I'm an avid bike rider and enjoy hiking.” What do you like the most about working at Kramer? “I love the satisfaction of solving people's problems, or discovering these problems even before they are discovered. I love my job, and I love to help people.” What are your career goals? “I’m very pleased with where I am right now.
