Amazing and very concerning!!! After speaking to several forensic groups in Asia, many seem to think that the faraday bag is not required. They all seem to resort to Airplane Mode. I know it’s the next best thing if you don’t have a faraday bag, but to make it a standard practice, just tells me they aren’t fully knowledgeable (which they should be) in the sending and receiving capabilities of the smartphones. Obviously, there is opportunity in educating the DFIR and enforcement teams in Asia. With this said, how useful do you think an 8x8 Faraday Tent would be in your forensic team operation?
