What could you do in December that doesn’t involve purchase decisions or get togethers that you just can’t be a**ed to go to? How about these ideas: . 1. Forage for festive foliage Go outside and explore local woodlands or parks, and gather sprigs of holly, pinecones, and evergreen branches. Use them to create your own natural decorations like a wreath or a table centrepiece, or even dress up your drinks or a festive cheeseboard. Not only will it bring a touch of the outdoors into your home, but it’s also a mindful activity perfect for resetting. . 2. Try your hand at seasonal cooking Get creative in the kitchen with a local twist and visit your nearest farm shop or farmer’s market to pick up some winter produce - think parsnips, chestnuts, or cranberries. Then experiment with a new recipe that’s not for visitors, so you can say no to culinary expectation & pressure. Extra chill points if you can combine cooking with some of your favourite music. . 3. Stargaze under ffffffrosty skies Put all the layers on, grab a blanket, and head to a spot away from the town or city glow. December skies bring crisp, clear nights, and the chance to catch a glimpse of the Geminid meteor shower. Bring a thermos of something mulled and gaze up at the cosmos for a grounding, awe-inspiring experience. Nothing beats the raw magic of a winter’s night. . I’m looking forward to two whole weeks off this festive season. My December is crammed but in January I've got space for three life MOTs and three new one-to-one clients (details on the website). Get in touch to book now if you don’t want January to be another blurry month of broken resolutions and you want to finally achieve the results you’ve been chasing. I remember the first Thanksgiving dinner I hosted. The turkey came out *almost* perfect (one side a bit crispier than planned), the mashed potatoes were a little lumpy, and I forgot to serve the cranberry sauce altogether. But you know what? No one cared. What mattered most was the laughter around the table, the shared stories, and the gratitude we all felt for being together. That’s the thing about Thanksgiving—it’s not about perfection; it’s about connection. At Clark & Co, we carry this spirit into everything we do. We know that the most memorable marketing isn’t always flawless—it’s genuine, heartfelt, and focused on creating real connections. Whether we’re designing websites, crafting campaigns, or helping small businesses grow, our goal is to bring people together, just like Thanksgiving does. This season, we’re grateful for our incredible clients, partners, and the communities we get to serve. Your trust, collaboration, and shared passion inspire us every day. From our team to yours, Happy Thanksgiving. May your day be filled with joy, gratitude, and just the right amount of pie (even if the crust isn’t perfect). #HappyThanksgiving #Gratitude #ClarkAndCo #BusinessGrowth

I used to think Thanksgiving was just about the turkey. Then, one day, I realized something: It’s about celebrating those who make our lives better. By widening our footprint in the world. Thankful to the customers who push us to deliver better and innovate smarter. Thankful for family and friends who love us, support us, and push us to be our best. And mostly, to have like-minded rebels (and family members) who will fight over the last piece of pumpkin pie. It's why I am "Grateful for customers who challenge us. They're like free consultants MINUS the PowerPoints." Customers & Family = Pumpkin pie Those who push us = More pumpkin pie + Whipped cream My takeaway for this day: Celebrate those who make your life richer and never forget to show your gratitude. Have a safe and amazing Thanksgiving filled with laughter. ----------------------------------------- ♻️ Repost if you agree. 🔔 Follow David Brier for daily tips on branding and selling

🦃 A Bride’s Guide to Surviving Thanksgiving with Your Future In-Laws 🦃 Hey Bride! Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and guess what? You're spending it with your future in-laws! 😬 Here are a few tips to help you handle the day like a pro: 1. Bring a Thoughtful Gift 🎁 Skip the generic bottle of wine. A small houseplant, candles, or a gourmet treat will make a lasting impression and show you’re thoughtful! 2. Dress for the Family Vibe 👗 Check with your fiancé on family dress traditions. Some families love dressing up for Thanksgiving, while others keep it cozy. Don’t show up in sweats! A well-thought-out outfit will show you’re ready for the occasion. And keep the bling minimal—you want to avoid looking like a gold-digger! 3. Offer to Help in the Kitchen 🍴 Even if you’re not the next top chef, offering to help with prep or cleanup will show you’re ready to pitch in. Plus, it's a great chance for some one-on-one bonding time with family! 4. Sneak in a Quick "Thank You" to Your Fiancé's Parents 🙏 Find a quiet moment with your future in-laws to thank them for raising such a great person. It’s a small but impactful way to show appreciation and kindness. For more tips on navigating Thanksgiving with your future in-laws, check out our full blog.
