Once again Flavor Design had the honor of designing the visual packaging for the AICP (Association of Independent Commercial Producers) Awards shows and what they created was a breathtaking nod to human artistry. Flavor unified the shows, seminars, and panels for AICP Week through unique visual treatments crafted in a hand-animated style. Another Country's Joe Philips again designed a bespoke soundscape for each show, inspired this year by meditation, bells, vibrations and frequencies. “The work of Cutters, Flavor and Another Country not only provided an inspiring design motif for all of our AICP Week events and awards premieres, it also underscored the importance of craft, which provides the foundation for everything that the AICP Awards recognizes and celebrates,” said Matt Miller, President & CEO of AICP. “We’re deeply appreciative of the thought, creativity, insight and overall excellence they brought to this assignment, which set an appropriate tone for the outstanding work honored in our competitions and the high level of discussion, information and knowledge that was shared at our panels.” Cheers to everyone who worked on this incredible project (and massive undertaking!!). We continue to be inspired and wildly proud of your hard work and talents ✨ Head to the thumbnail to see a montage of the work and read more on SCREEN Magazine. #cuttersstudios

Hello everyone! 💜 Today I'm making a post about a project that I completed last year and that I don't think I've talked about here at all. I feel it's necessary for you to get to know me and what I do. In addition to being responsible for the #visual concept in every project I participate in, creating multiple visual variations, and the final outcome, which is the key visual (KV) for an entire campaign or event, I also handle the implementation of these KVs on both online and offline promotional materials. In other words, everything you'll see in this project is done in #Adobe #Illustrator and #Adobe #InDesign. I handle #print materials with the same care as I do in creating a #KV. I really enjoy working in this creative field, and I believe it's important for a #graphic #designer to be #open-minded and learn about the print aspect. In this project, I've included some print materials to show how the KV adapts and transforms according to surface and dimensions. I invite you to explore my #project and leave a #comment. I'm open to #collaborations, especially in everything related to visual creativity and #print. So, I hope you enjoy what you see. 👁 💛 💜 💙 https://lnkd.in/dSspghJJ

Brand Strategist & Designer | Founder of Daçe Studio™ 🤟 Obsessed with helping businesses worldwide to build the perception they deserve. 🚀 Journey starts here: itsdace.com
🤯 100 MILLISECONDS. That's how long it takes for our brain to recognize a color. Almost a quarter of the time it takes to blink an eye. In this visually appealing era for brands, you must confidently own your color and carry it onto every occasion possible. I'm not talking about "How to choose the right color" or the "Green means nature, blue means professional" type of advice. Pick whatever the strategy requires. But own it confidently. Everywhere. #BrandStrategy #Branding #BrandColor *** What color(s) can you say your brand owns confidently? For Daçe Studio™, you know, it's purple (imagine if I was color-blind for this whole time😛). From a sunny Monday afternoon, with 🧡.

Simplicity in Color at Benidorm Fest 2024 💃🏼✨ This winter at Benidorm Fest 2024, we had the opportunity to develop the visual narrative for flamenco artist Maria Pelae. Our approach was anchored in the power of simplicity, letting pure color tell the story. We meticulously created a spectrum of color gradients - from the calm of serene blue to the intensity of passionate red. The visual design was a blend of minimalistic geometry and refined color transitions, each element thoughtfully chosen to complement the music and lighting. Our objective was clear: transform a simple visual backdrop into a compelling narrative tool. The result was a smooth integration of visuals that not only matched but enhanced the mood of Maria Pelae's powerful performance, as broadcasted on RTVE. This project stands as a testament to the impact of minimalist design in creating profound audiovisual experiences. #BenidormFest #BenidormFest24 #VisualNarrative #ColorGradientArt #TechnicalArtistry #StageArt #AudiovisualArt #LiveVisuals #LightArt #MinimalistDesign #RealTimeArt #MusicMeetsVisuals #realtime #madewithnotch #liveevents #realtimeVFX #RTVE

Art Strategist | Contemporary Art | Collection Acquisitions | Aesthetics Research | Visual Perception
How does the choice of art in a corporate environment influence the initial perception and experience of its viewers? Corporate art must fit the function and the mood of the space where it is displayed. For example, a lobby is the first point of contact for visitors and residents of a building. This sets the tone for the experience—it is intended to be welcoming and impressive. Large-scale works that are visually striking and create a sense of openness are often preferred. Abstract works that evoke curiosity and rapid engagement are always idea. The goal is to create a positive and lasting first impression. #art #corporateart #artcollection #artadvisor #artadvisory

I facilitate productive art + business collaborations. 👆Pictured above, cropped video still from 'In Situ', Harbin Charter Mall OLED, Harbin, China. 👆
An important read for my clients, and similar brands and corporations. Davis' second point really rung a bell for me, highlighting potential pitfalls for artists when engaging with brands, and their high powered marketing and communications machines. I know this wasn't the point of the article but there are important lessons in this piece from a number of angles. Businesses, and big brands in particular are leveraging art more than ever. In my experience, many companies like mine are most concerned with pleasing the client – giving them what they think they want – but what many brands need is GOOD advice about how to engage with art, artists, and the broader art world. It is okay if we have different ideas about what that looks like but our job includes mediating these relationships so that they are sustainable for all involved, and engaging for audiences. As for the author's intent, which is to follow-up on a review deemed negative by the artist, this is important too for artists - particularly those who didn't go through art school and experience being crushed in critique. (I'm probably NOT an artist because I have done and quickly learned that is not my wheelhouse.) None of us, artists included, grow and stretch being constantly celebrated. We learn and stretch and grow through failure and by being challenged. It sucks. But it makes us and our work better in the long run. There isn't much criticism left so I'm glad that Ben Davis is helping keep the craft alive. Even if I accept the changing nature of the art world (and I do!), we need the friction. https://lnkd.in/gczcrgCD
