Among the ceiling structures that stand out today, suspended ceiling systems were used in Istanbul Airport, which has the world's largest terminal. The Nordic Architecture architects, who based their designs on Istanbul's historical role as a gateway between East and West, emphasized elements that reflect the city's values and spirit. The project, consisting of 3 terminal buildings and 6 runways, connects to the city on the land side while opening to the runways from the sea side.
