Strengthening customer service and team wellbeing for leaders focused on standing out as a business of choice. ✨Customer Service ✨Communication ✨Employee Wellbeing Speaker | Virtual Trainer
Customer Service Week is coming up on Oct 7-12. Are you ready for it? This year’s Above and Beyond theme is your chance to show your team their hard work counts. Celebrating their efforts boosts morale and ensures they feel seen and valued. When you take the lead in recognizing your team, you model the very behavior you want to inspire—going above and beyond. It’s not just about appreciation, it’s about setting the standard for what excellence looks like. Here are 5 easy ideas to get you started: Wellness Breaks: Offer short, guided wellness activities. Customer Appreciation Board: Seek out and share positive customer feedback with the team. Leadership Thank-You Notes: Have leaders write personalized, handwritten notes to team members, acknowledging a specific instance when they demonstrated exceptional effort or went beyond their regular duties for a customer or staff member. Recognition Wall: A virtual or physical space where employees can share shout-outs of appreciation to each other. Peer Recognition Awards: Let team members nominate each other for fun, personalized awards. #customerserviceweek #teamappreciation #celebrate #suttleshift

Many employees overlook the reciprocal nature of care within their workplace, as underscored by the esteemed CEO of Air Asia, Mr. Tony Fernandes. This principle suggests that when an organization demonstrates care for its employees ("TC them"), it fosters an environment where employees reciprocate with dedication and commitment ("TC you"). Implementing this philosophy not only cultivates a positive work environment but also leads to tangible benefits such as increased productivity, enhanced product quality, and heightened customer satisfaction. It encompasses various aspects, including but not limited to, fostering a supportive workplace culture, providing adequate training, and offering appropriate incentives beyond mere bonuses. Your Voice Counts 💛❤️ Every year, DHL employees worldwide have the opportunity to make their voices heard through the Employee Opinion Survey (EOS). It's a chance to share your thoughts, provide feedback, and help shape the future of our company. From August 28 to September 19, employees will have the opportunity to participate in the EOS. This survey collects feedback on a variety of important topics, from workplace satisfaction to company strategy. Your opinions are crucial in guiding us towards a better future. As a reminder, here's a video we created 3years ago to highlight the importance of the EOS. It was a fun experience to be part of this project and serve as an ambassador for the survey. While we may not be a professional actor, I hope you'll find the video enjoyable and informative. In the video, my colleague Marco D.F. Matiatos & I emphasize the significance of the EOS for both our company and individual employees. It's a chance to share your ideas, raise concerns, and contribute to a more positive and productive work environment. So, let's make our voices heard. By completing the EOS, we can contribute to a more positive and fulfilling work environment for everyone. Remember, your opinions matter. Your voice counts. Let's come together and shape the future of DHL 🚀 #eos #dhlglobalforwarding #dhl #employeeengagement #employeeexperience #dhl #yellowunited #employeeexperience #feedback #aid #connectingpeople #improvinglives #firedup #readytogo #eos2024 #EmployeeOpinionSurvey #EveryVoiceCounts #Feedback #feedbackculture #yellowunited

Let's celebrate National High Five Day! Here are the Top 5 reasons I'm excited to join in the festivities today, and why you should too! 🖐️ Use the comments to send a virtual high five to someone you want to recognize! 🎉 🌟 Instant recognition: Recognition shouldn't be confined to major milestones or achievements; it's equally important to celebrate excellence in everyday tasks and contributions. Whether it's going the extra mile to support a colleague, consistently delivering high-quality work, or embodying the values and ethos of the organization, every effort deserves acknowledgment. High fives provide immediate acknowledgment and validation for a job well done and can be used to celebrate even small wins. 🖐️ 💬Embrace connection: In today's fast-paced and increasingly remote world, meaningful connections are more important than ever. High fives can serve as a physical expression of connection and solidarity, reminding us of the importance of human interaction and support. Virtual high fives using emojis, gifs, or video calls can also evoke the same positive emotion and sense of camaraderie. 🌐🤝 🏆An athlete mindset: Many historians trace the origins of the high five to professional sports, where it evolved from the low five hand gesture popularized in Black communities as a symbol of celebration and camaraderie. High performance work teams (both on and off the field/court) rely on teamwork, resilience, goal setting, continuous improvement, leadership, adaptability, and yes…collective celebration and recognition! 🏀🏅 🚀Powerful motivator: When employees feel seen and appreciated for their contributions, they are more likely to feel motivated and engaged in their work. Acknowledging their efforts not only boosts morale but also encourages them to continue performing at their best. 🌟 🎉Culture of positivity: By consistently recognizing and celebrating achievements, teams can cultivate a culture of positivity, gratitude, and teamwork. When employees see their colleagues being appreciated and rewarded for their hard work, it creates a supportive and collaborative environment where everyone feels encouraged to contribute their best. A positive work culture not only enhances employee satisfaction but also attracts top talent and strengthens the organization's reputation. 👏🌟 Who do you want to recognize on National High Five Day?

Company culture is what employees live and breathe in their everyday experience. It's not the once-a-year recognition event. It's not the once-a-month coaching session. It's not the once-a-day morning buzz session. It's not the dressdown Friday, the standing desks or the new pods. It's not the euphoria your amazing customer resolution that one time. It's not the awful news that the aircon broke when it's 28 degrees outside. It's the mundane. The perfunctory. The everyday. What is your average, everyday experience? That will give you more insight into your culture than any voice of the employee, temp check or survey can offer. #HappyBeesMakeTastyHoney #Culture #EmployeeEngagement
