*** VAMO *** PSA, PSA, PSA It is interesting what information you can find on LinkedIn. You would think that people in IT, especially in Cyber, tend to post only a little information. Recently, I was able to look at a profile. It had their email address with a number at the end, like a birth year, which can be figured out, as it had when they graduated from university or high school. It has their street address as contact information. It has their birthday. It has their phone number. Sure, I understand you want to be reachable, but I think putting too much information out there is not wise. There are a plethora of nefarious actors out there who could take that information and run with it. I know I have information on the Dark Web; it is inevitable, but it is our responsibility to make it as hard as possible for that information to get there. What do you think? *** VAMO ***

How to be safe on the Internet, 2. what information to share on the Internet. 3. How to avoid bullying others, and overall how to prevent ourselves from being victims of cyber attacks. Kudos to Hon.Emma Theofelus and Salt Essential IT (Pty) Ltd.
