We're a huge fan of what the NCL is doing, leading the way with up-skilling our current and future #cybersecurity #professionals! CTFs are a great chance to dive into other areas of cybersecurity that you haven't gotten as much experience in. The team aspect is especially fantastic you might have a partial solution to a problem that could be a breakthrough for a different teammate. Something I've often experienced in the workplace but not something you usually experience in an educational environment. #continuingeducation #teamwork #nonprofit
Had a ton of fun competing in this season's #NationalCyberLeague #CTF competition. This was my first time competing in a CTF but I was overjoyed to have almost made the top 10% (10.6 by my math). The team competition was especially fun! The official numbers aren't out yet to see how we placed but the napkin math looks good!! I'll post another update once those are out. #cybersecurity #defcon #teamwork #NCL-CTF National Cyber League

Come join me for a #networking session with more than 40 business owners and professionals this Thursday. There will be presentations on #cybersecurity and #investment from industry experts - Marcus Leong and TJO JARROD. I'm personally interested in the #digitalforensics topic as it is not a common area of focus that is often talked about. Yet, there is surely a growing need for this in the #digital era. The investment mindset is also one that many don't get taught in school. Yet, a good #investmentportfolio is highly essential if we want to gain financial freedom from the day-to-day working for income. So, block your calendar for this Thursday at 7.30am for an engaging event, followed by a sumptuous brunch and plenty of new connections. PM me if you'd like to come. I'll also post the registration link in the comments section below. #networking #singaporeevent #singaporeevents
Marcus Leong and TJO JARROD will both be sharing on their specific areas of expertise. We are all aware that the digital landscape is growing at an unprecedented rate and cyber threats are happening constantly. One way to be a step ahead is to figure out the methods of the cyber criminals. Forensics is one such way to learn the gaps in the defence against cyber attacks. Investment is never just about the timing of the market. In most cases, it is about the timing in the market. But how is that related to Jack and Jill? We are just as curious as you! Don't worry, this time curiousity will not kill the cat. Join us this Thursday and spend a productive and value added morning. We will also be celebrating our small wins for the week!

Security Blue Team scattered spider lab was not just a learning experience, but a hands-on encounter with the real-world challenges of tracking and understanding advanced cyber threats. Through this investigation, I explored the Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) used by SCATTERED SPIDER, including: 🔍 Sophisticated social engineering tactics 🔍 Credential harvesting via smishing and phishing campaigns 🔍 Exploitation of cloud and endpoint tools 🔍 Collaboration with Ransomware-as-a-Service (RaaS) groups like #Qilin and #RansomHub This lab not only sharpened my analytical and investigative skills but also highlighted the importance of proactive defense strategies to safeguard critical industries like Software, Retail, and Financial Services. 💡 Key Takeaway: Cyber threats are ever-evolving, and understanding the adversary’s playbook is key to staying ahead. #Cybersecurity #ThreatIntelligence #SCATTEREDSPIDER #LearningAndGrowth #Ransomware #RealWorldExperience
