Today we celebrate Dusshera, a time when Lord Rama triumphed over the evil king Ravana and Goddess Durga vanquished the demon Mahisasur to protect humanity. To me, the heads of these evil kings and demons represent our own fears and doubts. Much of our suffering originates from within, as we often project blame onto the world around us. True victory and success come from confronting these inner challenges and breaking free from the negative patterns that hold us back. The answers to our struggles lie within us; through self-reflection and courage, we can overcome our internal obstacles and find genuine peace and growth. A shift in mindset, combined with a commitment to action, can empower us to transform our lives. #growthmindset #stopoverthinking #biastoaction

Great Goals, Great Sacrifice… The only thing free in this world is salvation from God through Jesus Christ, and that one's free because Jesus paid the price on the cross. Eliezer had to pay a price to get Rebekah to come back with him and marry Isaac. Genesis 24:53 says, "Then he brought out gold and silver and articles of clothing and gave them to Rebekah; he also gave expensive gifts to her brother and her mother." Great goals require great sacrifice. If you are serious about getting a focused life, you need to ask three questions: 1) What will it cost? 2) What am I willing to give? 3) Is it worth it? The greatest use of your life is to invest it in something that will outlast it. Jesus said, "What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?" (Mark 8:36 NIV) Don't begin working toward your goals until you've counted the cost. I pray that God will help you get a clear vision of what he wants you to be and do. Civilians running, buildings burning, families torn apart...we are watching scenes not widely experienced for a generation. Again, the same question arises--Why can't GOD STOP THIS WARFARE, DEATH & DESTRUCTION? Here's a quick study on that very issue that I am preparing for this week's prophetic conference in Florida--The Silence of God & The Cries of His Suffering Saints Revelation 8:1-6 WHY WON'T GOD STOP THESE WARS? EARTH'S HORRORS, SAINTS' SUFFERINGS & PRAYER-HOW DO THEY FIT? This morning, we arrive at the eighth chapter of Revelation. This chapter may hold one of the most impacting truths we have studied in this final book of God's Word. This chapter before us contains the twin truths that explain what has happened to the prayers of every believer and saint of every age of human history. The twin truths are that God illustrates for us: The Destination & Application of Our Prayers Each time we pray in Christ's Name, that prayer rises before the Face of God our Father. God, our Father, is seated in the Throne Room of the Universe as the Almighty Lord. He is the all-powerful, He is the all-knowing, He is the all-caring, He is the all-loving, and He is the always and everywhere present One to whom we are to unceasingly pray. So to make that lesson Jesus taught about us as His followers to “always pray”, we now come to the illustration of what happens when we pray. This chapter explains prayer, where prayers go, what God does with them, and how God answers prayers that don’t get an immediately visible response. For most believers, the perplexing issue is when God does not answer what we ask Him to do, especially when it involves us, as His children, being oppressed, afflicted, unjustly treated, harmed, or horribly abused. When nothing happens from our perspective, what is happening up there where we can’t see right now is the Throne of God. What happens at the Throne of Grace and Mercy, which the writer of Hebrews calls the Throne of God? That mystery is beautifully explained here. Revelation 8 explains God's silence and the Cries of His Suffering saints. The Silence of God & The Cries of His Suffering Saints Silence after a profusion of sound can be deafening. Nothing stands out more clearly in Revelation 8 than the deafening half-hour of silence that opens this next chapter.
