Transforming software and digital platforms with innovation, collaboration, & industry-leading artificial intelligence
Students must develop the crucial skill of relating to patients beyond the pages of medical textbooks. Empathy cannot be taught in a classroom. Real-world experiences, engaging with prospective patients, are essential for cultivating this vital attribute. Encouraging students to actively listen and communicate with individuals can significantly enhance their patient-care abilities. Instead of solely focusing on academic electives, prioritizing hands-on experiences is key. These encounters offer invaluable opportunities for students to acquire the necessary skills, especially in the era of AI.
